Valvetek Machining Ltd are a ISO 9001 accredited company who specialise in both Manual and CNC horizontal boring. As well as vertical boring up to 12 Tons in Carbon, Austenitic, Duplex Stainless Steels and Nickel Alloys. Welded assemblies of machined components can be carried out as well as Weld overlay, by ASME IX and EN qualified welders.

NDE can be carried out in house with Dye Penetrant, Magnetic Particle, Ultrasonic Examination. Radiographic Examination can be arranged. We also have in house heat treatment for post weld heat treatment and Hydrostatic Testing.

Our customer base ranges from local to international companies who require a variety of services from small turning jobs to large body assemblies.

Valvetek Machining Ltd was formed in 2005 by three former Weir Valves & Controls employees. The medium and heavy machine shop and welding cell have been acquired from Weir Valves and Controls and set up in its current 20,000 Sq/ft facility as an independent machine shop and welding shop.
